Fishing is free and unrestricted all year round (except for trout fishing wich requires a licence).
Fishing is possible all year round due to mild weather conditions (except December and January because of bad weather and short days).
All forms of fishing are permeitted, with the exception of live baiting.
The principal species of fish are pike, bream, perch, tench, roach...
Depending on weather conditions and water levels, it is possible to fish from the bank or from a boat.
Main fishing methods:
- For pike: spinning, wobbling, dead bait, trawling (we provide boat rental)
- For bream, roach..: There is an abundance of these species. Pole fishing, feeder, waggler...
Equipement needed:
- 2 rods from 2,5 - 3 metres, one of wich is suitable for spinning, wobbling, dead bait
- Whip or pole
- Monofilament from 12-15 lb. stength
- Wire trace, 30 lb. strength
- Triple hooks n 3 - 6
- Sliding floats 20 - 30 grammes
- Waterproof clothing, wolly caps etc..
Maggots, groundbait, etc.. can be purchased in the area.
